| Yachting holidays have grown in popularity in recent years & are an ideal way to just 'get away from it all,' enjoying the guaranteed sunshine and crystal clear waters of the Aegean. Turkey's pine-covered, southwest coastline is surrounded by turquoise blue waters. Three hundred fifty miles of unspoiled, natural beauty embrace a peninsula scattered with many small islands. Our home port of Bodrum is a seaside resort only 45 minutes from the Greek Island of Kos. Archeological ruins and historic sites abound, & This truly is an outstanding area for yachting enthusiasts. The ancient port is lined with palm trees and its centerpiece is her famous castle, built in the early 15th century by the Knights of Rhodes. Today BODRUM is regarded as one of the best holiday spots in the Mediterranean. There are ample possibilities for entertainment, foo& fun at our many beaches, outdoor cafes, and restaurants, and the night life at charming local bars and taverns continues until the sun rises. Shoppers find our picturesque streets extremely appealing and a lovely place to wander. |

| What to bring? Passengers on a Blue Cruise only need their bathing suits, towels, t-shirts, & heavier shirt for cool evenings. Rubber shoes or walking shoes are recommended for shore excursions. Suncreens, sunglasses & a hat would be important to remember for all passengers. |
| In Crewed Yacht Charters, yachts normally visit 2 or 3 bays daily, with a maximum of 4 hours of sailing per day. The last stop in a day is the location chosen for the night. We visit a harbour every three or four days to take on water & fresh provisions. These harbors will be in little fishing villages & sometimes in small towns. Traditional wooden yachts mainly cruise by motor, but we sail if the wind direction serves us well. Food & Drink For private yacht charters, the food on board can be organized by our company. Our cook will prepare & serve your meals, whether he selects the menu, or you provide the provisions. The menu includes service of a full breakfast, four course lunch, afternoon tea or coffee service with cake & cookies, and five course dinner. Prepared mainly with dishes from our famous, traditional Turkish cuisine, your menu may have other special requests (such as communal, religious prefence, or health-oriented requests), that will be organized with us by advance notice, please. There are soft drinks & both local & imported alcoholic beverages in the bar of the yachts. If you have a special request for a drink we may not have at the bar, please inform us in advance. In bareboat charters, you can easily find restaurants in little fishing villages where you can eat fresh fish & local meals. In cabin charters, the price given includes the full board accomodation while on board. We use fixed, weekly menus for these cruises. Click here for a standard menu of a cabin charter. Activities All our traditional yachts are equipped with a windsurfer, dingy with outboard fishing, & snorkeling equipment. There are ample opportunities for different water sports such as jet-skiing, water-skiing, & banana riding, all at moderate prices & organised by special water sports groups at different bays visited. Upon request, we can arrange jet ski & water ski equipment to hire during your charter. Once the boat is moored, you can visit the archaeological ruins, walk into the pine forests & explore the beautiful coastline. Reading your book and having a siesta in the breeze under a tent may be another option. Of course, sealovers would enjoy swimming, snorkelling and sunbathing. On charters, you can join land excursions to nearby towns, ancient sites, & natural attractions. For instance, in the Bodrum-Gökova-Bodrum itinerary, you can join a Marmaris tour; in the Marmaris-Fethiye-Marmaris program, you may visit Caunos. We also organize shopping tours to local handicraft centers or bazaars to show you the extensive carpet, leather, jewelery, textile products or gift items of Turkey. |
| When to come ? Our cruises start on 6th April & end on 9th November, yearly. Private yacht charters embark every Saturday of the month. Weekly cabin charters depart every Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday. |
| The "Blue Cruise" concept is identified with one of Turkey's most beloved literary figures - Cevat Sakir Kabaagacli. Cevat Sakir, known as the "Fisherman of Halicarnassus," was exiled to Bodrum in 1962 because of his political beliefs. He fell in love with this area, & became curious about the cultural history of Bodrum. He began to sail in a rented sponge diver's boat, called the "Yatagan," deciding to rediscover the Aegean Coasts made immortal by Homer. Thus, the "Blue Cruise" was born. On today's Blue Cruise, we sail along the Bodrum and Gökova coasts in southwestern Turkey. You can swim, fish or enjoy other water sports in the pristine seas of uninhabited coves, & walk to archaeological ruins accessible only by boat. It is a truly memorable way to get close to the unspoiled character and culture of this beautiful part of the world. The port of Bodrum, ancient Halicarnassus, is a year-round resort located at the juncture of the Aegean and Mediterranean seas. A center for sailing, Bodrum is the site of the extremely well-preserved Castle of Saint Peter. Built in the fifteenth century by the Knights of Rhodes, the Castle now houses a renowned museum devoted to underwater archaeology.
