Itineraries by the region:

Specialised itineraries have been put together by Caravan Turkey to enable you to get the most from your stay. So varied is the choice, it is impossible to describe the alternatives within these pages. The itinerary that best suits you will be discussed with you when you contact us, and will include visits to museums, cultural, and entertainment sites, as well as scenic areas.

These itineraries require the following durations in Cappadocia, to which you can, of course, add extra nights, or add nights in Istanbul and/or a coastal resort:

TOUR 1 - 3 nights / 4 days
TOUR 2 - 4 nights / 5 days
TOUR 3 - 5 nights / 6 days
N.B. The first and last days are arrival and departure days.

OPTION 1:
Depart Istanbul to Kayseri or Nevsehir airports. Here you will be collected and transferred for a 1 hour 20 minute journey to Goreme (shorter if flying to Nevsehir)

OPTION 2:
Depart from Pamukkale for a 9-hour, air-conditioned bus drive

If journeying to or through Istanbul, then a transfer will be provided after breakfast to Kayseri airport for your departure.  Overland and overnight bus journeys are available, as well

OPTION 2:
To Pamukkale, before coastal resorts
A stunning, two-day journey, overland & overnight, through the Turkish countryside.  Travel in a comfortable, chauffeur-driven, air-conditioned vehicle:

Day 1 -  9 Hours Driving Time
Leave after breakfast or dinner for the long and picturesque drive to Pamukkale. The day's journey is broken by a visit to Konya, home to the famed Selimiye Mosque and world-renowned for the Whirling Dervishes. Their history is recorded in the Mevlana museum, which you will have time to visit. Stay overnight in a thermal resort hotel in Karahayit,10 minutes away from PAMUKKALE, where you may take a refreshing swim before enjoying a complimentary meal.

Day 2 - 4 Hours Driving Time
Suitably rested, your journey continues to bodrum
Balloon trips over Cappadocia
These fantastic flights are, without fail, the highlight of all our guests’ visits to Cappadocia. In addition to the sheer exhilaration, they provide the opportunity to view this remarkable region in a completely different light. Amongst our many previous guests who have enthused about the experience is an Air Commodore (RAF, now retired) who was particularly impressed by the service, professional-ism, attention to detail and safety of Kapadokya Balloons.
